Valentine’s Day is coming up, so how about a nod to an OG literary romance that doesn’t involve teenagers making horrible decisions? *gives side eye to Romeo and Juliet* Elizabeth Bennett and Mr. Darcy have a quintessential “will they or won’t they?” love story, one that makes me wonder if Jane Austen had any idea that she’d be setting a template for rom-coms for centuries to come.
