Hurricane Beryl came through and essentially kicked the city of Houston while we were still down from the derecho in May, so my crochet plans were put on pause. I’m extremely fortunate to have been fine through both storms, but so many in the city are still without power in our unbearable summer heat, on top of dealing with property damage and concerns for loved ones’ health and well-being. Recovery efforts are at a crawl, and frankly, the city of Houston is just fucking exhausted. While things return to some semblance of normalcy, I’ve got one more critter in progress, so we’ll see if I can finish that one in time to wrap up my SDCC critterdrop lineup. Otherwise this tiny Chun Li is ready to kick some ass at SDCC!

- If you find a critter, let me know that you found it! Please check in if you find a critter. Each one is tagged with a card with my contact info, I just ask for two things if you find one: 1) Send me a photo of your new friend, and 2) Let me know where the critter’s new home will be so I can add it to my map! I do this knowing that there’s a potential that anyone could swipe the critter and never get back to me on it, but it doesn’t make it any less disheartening when one goes missing.
