Like the rest of the internet, I found the joys of Moo Deng the baby hippo:
This feisty little girl stole everyone’s hearts with her adorable chonkiness and chompiness.
So I had to make one. Chompiness and all!
And yep, she’ll actually chomp on stuff.
I’ve also got a rough pattern up for her if anyone wants to try making a chompy Moo Deng of their own! CAVEAT: This is a ROUGH pattern and is essentially my crochet notes fleshed out. There are no accompanying reference photos and it hasn’t been checked or tested for reproducibility, so make at your own risk! This was meant to be a one and done project for me and I have no plans to add any additional details or edits to the rough pattern. So y’all are on your own on this one! Let me know how it goes if you make your own chompy little hippo!
