I recently started a little project for myself to make all eight playable characters from Street Fighter II: World Warrior. In round 1 we were met with Ken, the blond American with the fluffiest hair and THICC eyebrows. We’ve reached round 2, with our newest challenger:
It’s Ryu! Considered the main protagonist of the Street Fighter franchise, this dude’s sound effects inspired a generation of ridiculous vocalizations whenever a projectile is involved. HADOOOOUKEN is just fun to say. Maybe not during a wedding or funeral, but it’s fun nonetheless. Or maybe it IS fun at a wedding or a funeral, just gotta have the right attitude, amirite?
Ryu took significantly less time to make than Ken, mostly because he doesn’t have a giant mane of hair to deal with! He’s looking pretty good with his closer-set, easier-to-manage hair. Saved me some time from having to play crochet barber, that’s for sure. I set up Ryu to battle against his old buddy Ken, and well, you can see for yourself how the fight went:
