Fasten off and leave a tail approximately 7” long for sewing.

Trauma dumpling:

Stuff the dumpling about halfway (overstuffing will result in the folds not being as defined). Run your yarn tail through the gaps between stitches at round 14, then pull tightly. Secure the top closed with more stitches.

Cut two small circles out of white felt, and using a permanent marker or black paint, draw a pupil into the center of each eye. Glue the eyes between rounds 7 and 8, approximately 6 stitches apart. Optional: Using a small brush, apply black eyeshadow under the eyes to create some tired dark bags

Happy dumpling:

Place the safety eyes between rounds 7 and 8, approximately 6 stitches apart.

Stuff the dumpling about halfway (overstuffing will result in the folds not being as defined). Then run your yarn tail through the gaps between stitches at round 14, then pull tightly. Secure the top closed with more stitches. Using black embroidery floss, sew on a mouth. Then using the pink felt, carefully cut out small circles and glue one to each side of the dumpling’s face to make blushing cheeks.
