When it comes to the little critters I make, the crocheting is the easy part. It’s the extra details that take up more time and money, requiring extra shopping for materials, extra troubleshooting in terms of how to make things work, and LOTS of patience in actually making it happen.

It’s the little details that make me want to yank my hair out, but it’s also the little details that really tie a piece together, making it all worth the effort. Coming up with the overall crocheted piece takes time, but it’s the final touches that turn a quick 30-minute crocheting project into a 3-hour ordeal.
