Sure, there’s the Elf on the Shelf, who’s supposed to watch your every move and essentially acts as Santa’s personal surveillance squad. But what about a Grouch on the Couch?
If an elf on the shelf is supposed to keep an eye on you and narc to Santa over your behavior, then I like to think Oscar the Grouch on the Couch just hangs out and collects your crumbs and wrappers when you get a little too snacky in front of the TV. That, and he’ll give you permission to be your best trashy self, yeah?
