From Scotland, With Love: 2026 Edition!

Since 2016, Gina and I have had a longstanding tradition where she’ll send me adorably crocheted little critters of her own, and I take them with me to San Diego Comic-Con to drop on her behalf! Crazy to think that this year marks TEN YEARS of this tradition! This year she’s sent me another three little buddies across the pond from Scotland, find one and it’s yours to keep!

We’ve got a little Spider-Gwen:

And a wee little Homelander. Check out the detail on the cape!

And just look at this little Wolverine! The tiny little claws killll me.

I can’t believe it’s been ten years of getting these little gifts in my mailbox, and it’s always an absolute joy seeing what she comes up with each year. Let’s get these little guys some happy new homes! And if you don’t find one of Gina’s critters, SHE HAS A KO-FI SHOP! If you love her work, you can order one from her, and she takes custom requests! Otherwise you can find her at the following platforms:

Find one of these little guys at SDCC and it’s yours to keep!

If you’re unfamiliar, since 2011 I’ve been crocheting little characters from pop culture and leaving them for strangers to find at San Diego Comic-Con by leaving clues on social media! If you’ve never followed my SDCC drops before, here’s what you need to know:

  1. Follow me on Instagram, Threads, or Twitter for updates on new critters!
  2. When the time comes, follow my clues posted to social media (specific platform tbd when the time comes closer to SDCC) to track the drops, where I’ll post hints on where I’ve left them for a lucky finder!
  3. If you find a critter, let me know that you found it! Please check in if you find a critter. If you find one of Gina’s critters, I just ask for two things: 1) Send me a photo of your new friend, and 2) Let me know where the critter’s new home will be! We do this knowing that there’s a potential that anyone could swipe the critter and never get back to us on it, but it doesn’t make it any less disheartening when one goes missing.

No specific hints on where these little guys will be dropped, and I’ll drop them whenever the time and place feels right! Find one and it’s yours to keep! Happy hunting!

Pick your social media poison and join the hunt!
