A Little Sugah for Chere

This is little Anna Marie:

And this is little Remy:

Years ago I took little Remy back to his home state of Louisiana on a trip to New Orleans, where he found his way to a new home there!

But that meant little Anna Marie was left alone! Lil’ Rogue can handle herself perfectly fine, but her life would feel a little empty without her sugah. And that WILL NOT DO.

So, just like in X-Men ’97 season 2, I brought him back. Because dammit, these two belong together! No ifs, ands, or buts.

I’d say he’s gotten a bit of a glow-up since the last time I made him too. Gave him more hair, changed up his coat color, and gave him some brighter eyes to really show that glow. The card stays the same though. Gambit ain’t Gambit without his cards, and I wasn’t going to let him show anything other than the ace of hearts.

I also thought it’d be fun to have him mess with my deck of cocktail cards from Run for the Roses in Denver! I’m surprised there wasn’t a card for a Sazerac, my favorite New Orleans-based cocktail, but a stiff Vieux Carre sounds like something little Remy would enjoy as well.

These two lovebirds have been reunited on my shelf, and I’m so, so, sorry, Rogue! I promise this one ain’t going anywhere. This time he’s playing for keeps. Sugar and Chere, together as they should be.
